DECISION
The applicant was, during 1993-1994 a member of the South African Police at Sebokeng. He participated in activities amounting to unlawful possession of ammunition and for which he was convicted and sentenced. He acted as a sympathiser of the African National Congress and completely in the interests of the aforementioned organisation. The requirements of Act 34 of 1995 have been complied with. The applicant is consequently granted amnesty for:
Unlawful possession of ammunition in contravention of Act 75 of 1969 for which he was convicted and sentenced to five (5) years imprisonment all suspended by the Regional Court Vereeniging on the 23rd June 1993.
