Operation Zero Zero

Explanation
Eight young activists were killed and at least seven were injured in explosions involving booby-trapped hand grenades in Duduza, KwaThema and Tsakane, Tvl, on 26 June 1985. The zero-timed grenades had been provided by a Vlakplaas operative purporting to be an MK operative. The operation, codenamed 'Zero Zero', had been authorised by the Minister of Law and Order. Fifteen Security Branch operatives, including the head of the Security Branch and other senior personnel, were granted amnesty for the operation.

HOT PURSUIT OF OPERATION AT JOZINI
"Look, we've got our target, the policeman" and an hour later they have their weapons and they go into the house. It just seems that to arrange an operation like this, there had to be some form of planning and it seems clear, Chairperson, that yes, Mr Andrew Chauke did go to that house, he did ...
MR VAN DYK: That is correct. I wouldn't say that his courage failed him completely, I think perhaps he didn't want to carry on with the operation, but after we spoke we then together, both of us went to the wooden house.

MR ALBERTS: Now you have already expressed your sentiments during the previous application concerning the unfortunate consequences that this type of operation held. Do you stand by that too for the present purposes or not?

Who do you think in your own mind, was responsible for the entire operation, the entire plan?
Would it be correct if I were to assume that for this operation you would of had to have a meeting place somewhere that you know to part of the plan was that at some place people would meet and gather and then station themselves at strategic points and so. Would I be correct in assuming that?
