Two years later on January 6th 1989, Stompie’s decaying body, punctured with stab wounds was found in a Soweto veld. A number of court trials found that he was last seen at this house, Diepkloof, Soweto, home of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. Stompie was brought here with three other young people after being abducted from the Orlando West Methodist Church. And it is here that he is said to have been accused of being a police informer, and assaulted non-stop for four days.
