Special Report Transcript Episode 40, Section 4, Time 16:18

In the run-up to the 1994 elections Oupa Gqozo formed the African Democratic Movement. The party’s aim was to entrench Gqozo’s dictatorial control of the Ciskei in the face of a changing political dispensation. The ANC youth opposed the ADM and all that it stood for. The clashes were violent and resulted in many deaths.
