Religious propaganda that emanated from the apartheid system was effective Mr. Chairperson. It made many of our members feel guilty about any form of opposition, disobedience or even criticism of the government policy. As a result the church was silent when it should actually have spoken out. Because of its silence when it should have spoken, it is guilty of collaboration with the system that caused great suffering to many innocent people.
