Description
A COSAS member who was at a protest meeting against police brutality at City Rocks Stadium, Winterveld, Bophuthatswana, on 26 March 1986 when police opened fire. Eleven people were killed and two hundred injured in the City Rocks shooting. In the aftermath, police allegedly assaulted fleeing people, dragged them out of houses and subjected them to severe battering both at the scene and at GaRankuwa police station.
