A UDF supporter who was shot dead by IFP-supporting AmaButho members at a memorial service for slain UDF leader, Victoria Mxenge, on 8 August 1985 in Umlazi, Durban. Seventeen people were killed and twenty injured in the attack. See Victoria Mxenge memorial service attack.
