Was abducted from his home in Durban on 27 May 1993 by members of the IFP and the KZP. He was then taken to the Esikhawini area, KwaZulu, near Empangeni where he was killed and his body set alight. Five perpetrators were granted amnesty for the killing (AC/1999/0332). See Esikhawini hit squad.
