Was severely beaten by supporters of Chief Mahlangu in Goederede, near Dennilton, Transvaal, in July 1975. Chief Mahlangu stood to benefit from the incorporation of Goederede into Lebowa, and his supporters launched widespread attacks on residents who resisted incorporation.
