A Food and Allied Workers' Union (FAWU) member who was injured after a hand grenade was thrown into the bus she was travelling on by a member of United Workers Union of South Africa (UWUSA) on 29 September 1992 in Ratanda, Heidelberg, Transvaal. Ratanda was tense due to a violent labour dispute between striking COSATU-aligned FAWU workers and non-striking IFP-aligned UWUSA workers.
