LANDINGWE, Danile Julius

Description
A member of the BPC and SASO who was detained in 1974 in Cape Town, after which he was transferred to Pretoria where he was tortured and held for three hundred and sixty one days. In 1976 and 1977 he was again detained and subjected to severe torture, including the use of electric shocks. He was one of the accused in the ‘Bethal trial’ in which he was sentenced to an eight-year prison term. He was released in 1986. See Bethal 18.
