Was shot dead by IFP supporters in her home in Sharpeville, Vereeniging, Transvaal, on 19 April 1992. The perpetrators raped three women before killing a total of seven people. The home was attacked because the Lefheidi family were ANC supporters. Ms Lefhiedi’s brother was an MK operative and had recently been killed by members of the SAP.
