A constable in the SAP who was threatened at gunpoint by MK operatives when they robbed the Ormonde police station, Johannesburg, on 27 February 1993. No one was injured in the robbery, which was aimed at acquiring weapons for local self-defence units (SDUs). Two MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0325). See self-defence units (SDU).
