Was shot dead on 13 April 1986 in Daveyton, Tvl, by a named member of the SAP because he refused to allow police to search him. The killing occurred during fierce resistance by Daveyton residents to police action which escalated under the 1985 state of emergency. In a confrontation with police over the shooting, a youth was shot dead.
