Description
An ANC supporter who was shot dead on 16 December 1993 by IFP supporters returning from a rally in Woodford, Bergville, Natal. Two ANC members were killed and at least two others injured. Around 15 IFP supporters then attacked mourners at the funeral of the two ANC members, setting fire to the marquee and beating two funeral assistants. That night an elderly relative of one of the deceased was killed and five homes set alight.
