Was shot dead by a named member of the SAP on 5 October 1990 while attempting to escape arrest by boarding a train at Northmead Station in Benoni, Tvl. Mr Mzizi was suspected of breaking into a shop. After being shot, his body was allegedly thrown into a dam.
