A COSAS member who was detained and subjected to electric shocks by named and other members of the SAP in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal , on 18 January 1986. He was released later that day and told to ‘be careful’. Many youths were arrested at the time as Khutsong erupted in violent conflict after the alleged shooting of a youthleader by police in early January 1986.
