Was stabbed to death by IFP-aligned Khetisi Kheswa gang members on 12 January 1991 in Sebokeng, Tvl, during a night vigil for an ANCYL member killed by the gang. Gang members threw hand grenades and fired at mourners, killing a number of people and injuring several others. See Nangalembe night vigil massacre.
