Description
She had her house burnt down on 7 April 1994, when gunmen attacked a homestead in Izingolweni, near Port Shepstone, Natal, in political conflict between ANC and IFP supporters in the area during the run-up to the April 1994 elections. Five people were killed and four injured in the attack. Between 1990 and 1994, about 2000 people in the Port Shepstone area fled their homes to escape the violence.
