Description
Was killed when two MK operatives detonated a bomb in a shopping centre in Amanzimtoti, near Durban, on 23 December 1985 in retaliation for a South African security forces attack two weeks earlier on ANC members in Lesotho in which nine people had been killed. The Amanzimtoti explosion killed five people and injured 61. One of the operatives was sentenced to death and later hanged.
