A member of the UDF-supporting Umlazi Youth League who was assaulted and then died from smoke inhalation when his house in Durban was attacked and burnt down on 23 October 1985. This incident occurred during ongoing conflict between UDF and Inkatha supporters following the killing of UDF leader Victoria Mxenge in August 1985.
