Was beaten and sustained pellet wounds after being shot by members of the SAP in Katlehong, Transvaal, in October 1993. Ms Vilakazi and other residents of Sali section, Katlehong, were protesting against the Internal Security Unit (ISU) beating a school child in their vehicle.
