The Committee, after considering the application, the relevant documentation and the documentary evidence, is satisfied that:
(a) the application complies with the requirements of Act 34 of 1995,
(b) the acts, omission or offences to which the application relates are acts associated with a political objective committed in the course of the conflicts of the past,
(c) the relevant facts relating to the particular offences have been disclosed,
(d) the offences do not constitute a gross violation of human rights.
2. Amnesty is, therefore, granted to the applicant, ANDRIES ZIRK GOUS, in terms of Act no.34 of 1995 in respect of all offences associated with a political objective as defined in the Act and which fall within the ambit of the Act, which are associated with the flow from damage to the property of Dr.Bulbulia at Bakerton, Springs during or about October 1989 as a result of explosives, as well as offences associated with the unlawful possession of explosives that were used for that purpose.
