DECISION

                                                                                            

The applicant, a member of the Tokoza Self Defence Unit (SDU) was found in possession of a firearm (AK 47) for which he had no license.  This occured in 1993.

He had this firearm in his capacity as a member of the SDU.  He makes an application for amnesty in terms of Act 34 of 1995 as amended for the unlawful possession of a firearm.

We are satisfied that he has complied with the requirements of the Act and amnesty is 

GRANTED: accordingly.
