The Amnesty Committee having considered the nature of the offence and the application of John Mbatha is satisfied that:

1. The application falls within the ambit of Section 19(3)(b) of Act 34 of 1995; and

 2. The requirements set out in Section 20 of the Act have been complied with.

Amnesty is therefore 

GRANTED: in respect of the following offences

1. The unlawful possession of firearms, on 7,62 x 39 calibre AK47.

 2. 7,62 x 39mm MPIKMS on or about the 28th September 1993.
