DECISION

The applicant applies for amnesty in respect of the unlawful possession of a firearm and 8 (eight) rounds of ammunition.  He does so in terms of Act 34 of 1995 as amended (the Act).

Prior to 1995 he was a member of the Self-Defence Unit in Tokoza.  During his activities as such he was placed in unlawful possession of a firearm and 8 (eight) rounds of ammunition.

We are satisfied that he has complied with the requirements of the Act.  Consequently, amnesty is 

GRANTED: in terms of the Act for

the unlawful possession of a firearm and 8 (eight) rounds of ammunition.
