DECISION

                                                                                            

The Applicant was a member of the African National Congress and specifically uMkhonto weSizwe (MK).

During the period 1986 to 1987, as a MK member, she conducted military training in Swaziland and KwaZulu Natal.  She also assisted trained guerrillas to infiltrate South Africa from Swaziland.

The political objective she intended to achieve was the same as what MK was striving for, namely to wage war against the erstwhile South African government;  to overthrow the government militarily.

She never issued any orders for any specific people to be killed.

The applicant has complied with the requirements of the enabling Act and accordingly, she is 

GRANTED: amnesty for

a) training and infiltrating MK soldiers into South Africa.
