DECISION

The Committee, after having considered the application and relevant documentation, is satisfied that:

the application complies with the requirements of the Act, Act 34 of 1995;

the act, omission or offence to which the application relates are acts associated with a political objective committed in the course of the conflicts of the past;

that the relevant facts relating to the particular offence have been disclosed.

2. Amnesty is therefore 

GRANTED: in respect of the following  offences

the illegal possession of a handgrenade and

the illegal possession of ammunition for which he was        sentenced to 4 (four) years imprisonment in the Umlazi       Regional Court on the 7th September 1994.
