The applicant applies for amnesty in terms of Section 18 of Act No. 34 of 1995.

Having considered the application and relevant documents and being satisfied that the application falls within the ambit of the Act, and being further satisfied that the requirements set out in Section 20(1) of the Act have been met.

Amnesty is 

GRANTED: to the above applicant in respect of his illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm on the 20th September 1993 at Vosloorus and in respect of which he was charged and convicted by the Vosloorus Regional Court for contravention of Section 32(i) of Act 75 of 1969 and sentenced to six (6) years imprisonment.
