It was indeed an offence during the period mentioned to harbour or assist members or supporters of the Apla or the PAC as they were prohibited organisations in terms of the Security Acts. His acts were clearly politically motivated, his application complies with the requirements of the Promotion of National Unity and Reconciliation Act, No 34 of 1995, and AMNESTY IS ACCORDINGLY GRANTED .
