			<text>The applicant, Nicolaas Willem de Jongh, who held the rank of Commandant in the Afrikaner Weerstands Beweging, assisted two other members of that organisation to bomb blast two premises.  the first bombing took place during the night of 13-14 August 1993 at the premises of Wiseman Zitembile Sana at or near Queenstown and the second occurred during the night of 14-15 August 1993 at the premises of Johnson Dumile Sateni at or near Hofmeyer.  The bombings caused damage to both properties but did not cause any bodily injury to any person.</text>

			<text>Both bombings were executed in support of the AWB with a political objective associated with the conflicts of the past.</text>

			<text>Amnesty is granted to Fthe applicants in respect of the following offences:</text>

			<text>a) the bombing of the premises of Wiseman Zitembile Sana at or near Queenstown during the night of 13-14 August 1993;</text>

			<text>b) the bombing of the premises of Johnson Dumile Sateni at or near Hofmeyer during the night of 14-15 August 1993;</text>

			<text>c) the unlawful possession of explosives during the period July 1993 to 13 September 1993, which explosives are described in the Regional Court, Cradock, charge sheet under case number 4/1971/93.</text>

			<text>The amnesty Committee os of the opinion that Wiseman Zitembile Sana and Johnson Dumile Sateni are victims in that they suffered pecuniary loss as a result of an act associated with a political objective for which amnesty has been GRANTED and they are accordingly referred to the Committee on Reparation and Rehabilitation in terms of section 22(1) of Act 34 of 1995.</text>
