The murders of Doda Joseph Madiba and Khaya John Mthembu on 30 April 1991 at or near the Saiccor Bridge, Umkomaas. 2. The attempted murders of Ralph Dube, Mmangaleuna Khomo, Aaron Mbili and Thokisane Mbili on 30 April 1991 at or near the Saiccor Bridge, Umkomaas. The Amnesty Committee is of the opinion that the widows of the deceased, Mrs Mabel Madiba and Mrs Thembisile Mthembu and the three survivors of the attack, Mr R B Dube, Mr Afrika Mbili and Mr Aaron Mbili are victims in relation to this incident and are accordingly referred to the Committee on Reparation and Rehabilitation for its consideration in terms of Section 26 of the Act.
