The possession were in support of the ANC with a political objective associated with the conflicts of the past. Amnesty is hereby GRANTED to the applicant in respect of the following offences (i) Contravention of Section 32 (1) (a) of Act 75 of 1969 being in possession of illegal weapons; and 2 (ii) Contravention of Section 32 (1) (a) of Act 75 of 1969 being in possession of illegal ammunition.
