This occured in 1993. He had this firearm in his capacity as a member of the SDU. He makes an application for amnesty in terms of Act 34 of 1995 as amended for the unlawful possession of a firearm. We are satisfied that he has complied with the requirements of the Act and amnesty is GRANTED accordingly. SIGNED ON THE 30TH MARCH 1999.
