The Committee, having considered the application and relevant documentation, is satisfied that: a) the application complies with the requirements of the Act, Act 34 of 1995; b) the act, omission or offence to which the application relates are acts associated with a political objective committed in the course of the conflicts of the past; c) that the relevant facts relating to the particular offence have been disclosed. 2. Amnesty is therefore GRANTED in respect of the following offences. a) Contravention of Section 32(1) (A) of Act 75 of 1969 (unlawful possession of a machine fun) on 28 April 1994 at Duncan Village, East London. b) Contravention of Section 32(1)(e) of Act 75 of 1969 (unlawful possession of ammunition to be discharged from a machine gun) on 28 April 1994 at Duncan Village, East London.
