decisions AMNESTY DECISIONS LESOANA SAMUEL FABIAN MAKHANDA AC/99/0289 AM 7393/97 GRANTED https://sabctrc.saha.org.za/hearing.php?id=58965&t=&tab=hearings https://sabctrc.saha.org.za/originals/decisions/1999/ac990289.htm DECISION _____________________ The Amnesty Committee having considered the nature and context of the offences and the facts and information set out in the relevant documents and application of LESOANA SAMUEL "KINDO" FABIAN MAKHANDA is satisfied that: he is a member of the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania; the application falls within the ambit of Section 19 (3)(b) of Act 34 of 1995; and the requirements set out in Section 20 of the Act have been complied with. Amnesty is therefore GRANTED in respect of the following offences:- stealing of mortar bombs from the Voortrekkerhoogte military base; leaving the Republic of South Africa without valid documentation. ____________________ JUDGE S.
