Description Was taken from his mother while she was detained under section 29 of the Internal Security Act in a prison in Caledon, Cape. They were separated for eight days in July 1990. When Haroon was returned, his mother tried unsuccessfully to get him medical attention for the illnesses he had developed in her absence.
