A COSATU member who was stabbed and severely injured and had her house burnt down by IFP supporters in Swayimane, Table Mountain, near Pietermaritzburg, on 15 December 1990. There had been an IFP meeting that day, and Ms Hlela and her family were attacked for refusing to attend the meeting.
