A citizen of Botswana who was shot dead by Vlakplaas operatives in Sikwane, Botswana, on 23 April 1990. Mr Matheakwena was a security guard for the Chand family, five of whom were killed in the attack. Eight Vlakplaas operatives were granted amnesty for this operation (AC/2000/089).
