Description
An ANC supporter who was arrested in Welkom, OFS, on 6 June 1986 and tortured with electric shocks while in detention. He was detained for four days, allegedly because he was thought to be harbouring an arms cache. Mr Mofokeng was detained again on 15 June 1986 and was held for five days. He was then hospitalised for a year and remains mentally disabled as a result of torture suffered in detention.
