An ANC supporter who was beaten and stabbed by members of the A –Team who then attempted to ‘necklace’ him, in Parys, OFS, in November 1985. At the time there were ongoing clashes between members of the A-Team and township residents protesting over rent increases. In the same year, Mr Nhlapo was detained and tort u red by members of the SAP in Sasolburg, Transvaal, and in Heilbron, OFS.
