Was kicked, punched and beaten by members of the Bophuthatswana Police at City Rocks Stadium, Winterveld, Bophuthatswana, on 26 March 1986. Ms Nkabinde was taking part in a mass protest against police brutality. 11 people were killed and 200 injured in the City Rocks shooting when police opened fire on the protesters.
