Description An MK operative who was shot dead when led into an ambush by Vlakplaas operatives near the Swaziland border in Piet Retief, Transvaal, on 8 June 1988. Three other MK operatives were killed in the attack. A firearm and hand grenades were allegedly planted on the bodies when police realised that the four were unarmed. The perpetrators applied for amnesty.
