Notice is hereby given that on the 9th of December 1996,
AMNESTY WAS GRANTED: in terms of the Section 20(6) of Act 34 of 1995 to
Cornelius Gabriel Volschenk - 2759/96, identity number 580820 5113 00 5 in respect of the following offences:
1. Contravention of Section 54(1) read with Section 1, 54(4), 54(6), 54(8), 68 and 69 of Act 74 of 1982 further read with Schedule 4 of Act 74 of 1982 (Terrorism relating to the bombing of the Melkrivier School at or near Melkrivier in the district of Nylstroom; alternatively contravention of Section 27(1) read with Section 27(1)(c) of Act 26 of 1956;
2. The bombing of the Perdekop School at or near Perdekop in the district of Volksrust; alternatively contravention of Section 27(1) read with Section 27(1)(c) of Act 26 of 1956; alternatively arson.
3. Contravention of Section 28(1) read with Section 1 and 27 of Act 26 of Act 26 of 1956 (possession of explosives at Hendrina in the district of Middelburg);
4. Contravention of Section 3(2) read with Section 1 and 3(1) of Act 26 of 1956 (manufacture of explosives);
5. Contravention of Section 32(1)(a) read with Sections 1, 39 and 32(7) of Act 75 of 1969 (possession of machine guns and ammunition at or near Hendrina in the district of Middelburg);
6. Contravention of Section 10 read with Sections 1 and 7(4) of Act 26 of 1956 (the supplying of explosives at Hendrina in the district of Middelburg);
7. Contravention of Section 32(1)(e) read with Sections 1 and 39 of Act 75 of 1969 (possession of ammunition at Hendrina in the district of Middelburg);
8. Contravention of Section 2 read with Sections 1 and 39 of Act 75 of 1969 (possession of unlicensed firearms at or near Hendrina in the district of Middelburg);
9. Contravention of Section 36 read with Sections 1 and 39 of Act 75 of 1969, illegal possession of ammunition at or near Hendrina in the district of Middelburg).
