The Committee, after having considered the application and relevant documentation, is satisfied that:
the application complies with the requirements of the Act, Act 34 of 1995;
the act, omission or offence to which the application relates are acts associated with a political objective committed in the course of the conflicts of the past;
that the relevant facts relating to the particular offence have been disclosed.
2. Amnesty is therefore
GRANTED: for having been in unlawful possession of an AK47 rifle and 44 rounds of ammunition on or about 30th April 1994 at or near Denver in Johannesburg.
