DECISION
: The applicant applies for amnesty in terms of Section 18 of Act No. 34 of 1995. Having considered the application and relevant documents and being satisfied that the application falls within the ambit of the Act, and being further satisfied that the requirements set out in Section 20(1) of the Act have been met.
Amnesty is
GRANTED: to the above applicant in respect of his illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm on the 28th March 1994 and in respect of which he was sentenced in Johannesburg on the 8th August 1994 to five (5) years imprisonment for contravening Section 32(i) of the Act of 75 of 1969.
