DECISION

In our previous decision we inadvertently omitted to deal with all the incidents in respect of which Petrus Casparus Snyders had applied for amnesty. We are now dealing with one of them. He is here GRANTED amnesty for conspiracy to murder members of the African National Congress ("ANC") in Mozambique during or about 1989, which operation was aborted after ANC cadres became aware of the presence of the bomb in the kombi. No person was injured. According to the Applicant, the Vlakplaas Unit members had supplied the vehicle which they fitted with a bomb and the plan was that the device be detonated whilst the cadres were in the vehicle. An informer was used to deliver the vehicle to the cadres.
