Special Report Transcript Episode 20, Section 4, Time 25:58In 1937 they were arrested by Stalin’s secret police and charged with counterrevolutionary activity. They are interrogated and made to sign false confessions. On the bases of these confessions the Communist International expel them from the Communist Party of South Africa and pack them off to Soviet labour camps for a sentence of five years.
