Cloetesville is the small, quiet and traditionally Coloured township outside Stellenbosch. It is here in September 1976 that Ronald Carolissen was shot by police in a period of recurring violence. His brother, Richard Carolissen gave an eyewitness account of the chaotic and brutal circumstances in which his brother died.
