Nofemela said he thought the two women were Joyce Dipale and her cousin Lilian Keagle but Lilian confirmed this week that she hadn’t been there, neither was the other target, Joyce’s husband Rola. Joe Mamasela knew Joyce Dipale and was convinced that he had killed her, but she survived, although her life is very different now. She was shot three times in Gaborone. She later suffered a stroke which severely affected her speech and memory.
